WHO:  Volunteers from all walks of life, from willing learner to professional builder, are welcome to help build a house in partnership with a local family in need of decent shelter. Volunteers must be at least 16 years, and all minor volunteers (aged 16-17) must be accompanied by an adult.

WHEN:  Volunteers are scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, in two shifts: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 2 - 4:30 p.m. (1 - 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays).  A limited number of spots are available. Please click here to inquire, and our volunteer coordinator will notify you of available opportunities.

WHAT to expect on site: All volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver before beginning their work. A Habitat staff member will lead a safety orientation at the beginning of each shift. Volunteers will receive instruction on the day's task(s). No volunteer will be expected to do anything he or she is uncomfortable doing. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and sturdy, close-toed shoes. Tools and water are provided.
