National Women Build Week, May 4-10 .
In celebration of the compassion, dedication, talents and abilities of women from all walks of life, Habitat for Humanity International and Lowe's have declared the week preceding Mother's Day, may 4-10, as "National Women Build Week."  Lowe's is a national partner with Habitat for Humanity International and is the underwriter for the Women Build program.  Locally, in recognition of "National Women Build Week," female staff from Lowe's will volunteer with Waco Habitat on a Women Build Work Day during the week of May 4. Thrivent Builds
September 6 - December 13, 2008

Waco Habitat is pleased to join with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for a Thrivent Builds project in Waco this fall.
One of 322 homes nationwide to be built in 2008 through Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity , the September project will welcome volunteers from all walks of life. Lutherans are encouraged to volunteer in support for this unique, precedent-setting alliance.  To date, 670 Thirvent Builds homes have been built by 327 affiliates in 46 states and D.C.
