To donate financially to the ReStore click here

Material Donations
The ReStore accepts new and gently used building materials from builders and businesses as well as from individuals. However, as a re-sale store, acceptance guidelines are strict. Please see the information below for further details.

Donation drop-offs are accepted during normal business hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-5 & Saturday 9-3).

To schedule a donation pick-up, call us at 254-756-0131. Donation pick-ups are subject to your proximity to the ReStore, items to be donated and driver availability.

All donations to the Waco Habitat ReStore are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

If we cannot accept your item, find the nearest recycling center at Earth911.

Appliances

•We accept ranges, dish washers, clothes washers & dryers in working and nonworking condition.
•Owner’s manuals are appreciated.
•Refrigerators and microwaves MUST be less than 10 years old and in 100% working order.
•TVs and computers will not be accepted at any time.

Cabinets

•We will take complete & functional cabinet units.
•They must have doors, shelving, display racks, etc.

Doors

•We accept doors, with or without jambs, if they are in GOOD condition only.
•They must not have holes, cracks, rot, etc.

Electrical

•We accept electrical parts, wire, plugs, plates and the hardware associated with electrical wiring.

Fans

•We accept fans in working and nonworking condition.

Flooring material

•We accept laminate wood flooring & solid wood flooring.
•We do NOT accept asbestos tile. Otherwise tile (ceramic, porcelain, quarry, slate, marble, ect.) is accepted.
•New carpet is accepted. Used carpet is NOT.

Hardware

•We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, etc.
•Hinges, hangers, connectors, screws, ect. are accepted.

Household Chemicals

•We cannot take toxic, hazardous substances, (i.e. pesticides, powders, paint thinners, or other chemicals).

Lighting

•We accept all light fixtures in working or nonworking condition.

Lumber • Plywood • Sheetrock • Trim

•We accept full and1/2 sheets of plywood.
•We accept full lengths of lumber.
•We will accept trim in smaller pieces, but not less than 4 feet long.
•No rot please.

Mirror • Glass

•Mirror and glass in good condition will be accepted.

Paint • Wallcoverings

•We will take paint if it's sealed and usable.
•Paint can labels must be intact.
•Wallpaper is taken in full-unopened rolls.

Pipe • Pvc • Metal • Copper

•We accept 4' and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings.

Plumblng • TUBS • SINKS • SHOWERS • COMMODES

•We accept tubs, sinks and vanities if they are in good condition and clean.
•We accept commodes only if they are in working condition and are the low flush (1.6 gallon, made 1994 or later) type.
•We will NOT take a dirty commode under any circumstance.
•We will NOT accept any commodes made before 1994.

Roofing Material • Gutters • Canales

•We accept all types of roofing material such as rolled roofing material, tar, metal roofing, bundles of new shingles.

Tools

•We accept all hand and power tools in working and nonworking condition.

Windows • Screens

•We accept wood or metal windows and screens if reusable in function or as an antique.
